Met Dan once in a restaurant in Red Bank. Could not have been nicer. His podcast interviews with Matt Loughin and the Big East Rewind are must listens. The story of how he was recruited by Raf in the back room of a bar is great, as is the story of how Raf confronted him when he picked up numerous parking tickets on campus. "Danny, this isn't Hudson County, you can't just park anywhere you want!!"

Danny is the best, have talked to him many times in the court side club. Unbelievable story teller. True ambassador for the program. We need to keep him involved with the program as much as possible

Met him several times during the RAF/Hoddy years. Total CLASS act. The Cuse’s top NJ recruit asked to meet him after a game at Walsh. That’s the kind of respect he was getting.

I met him at the Front Office dinner that he spoke at prior to the RU game a few years ago.

He's a great story teller. So much so, that a group of us were still listening to him while in the parking lot an hour after the event ended.
