A complete S show so far. A bunch of folks yelling at each other and hardly any of them making good points. A hard watch so far.

Moderators have lost complete control of this. Maybe that’s by design to make it look like a Texas cage match.

Biden,...lol. 150 million killed from gun violence.

I think the fix is in. They are hardly giving Biden any time. I get shutting out Steyer but they are really shutting out Biden it seems.

Is it me or is Warren positioning herself to be Bernie‘s vice president?

Why is Biden so angry?

I plan on voting for Trump again, only one who gives me pause is Amy Klobuchar. She is damn good, knowledgable, has a realistic plan. I could vote for her.

The rest of them are insane.

I really like Buttigieg, but if it's anyone else I may have to vote Trump. Sad.

Thoughts on last night:
- I don’t think it’s going to change anyone’s mind heading into South Carolina and super Tuesday. Lots of screaming and yelling and moderators lost control.
- it looks like Warren and Klobuchar are positioning themselves for VP. Warren sucking up to Bernie on several occasions.
- The pandering to African-Americans was pathetic. Reparations (Styer), Pushing affordable housing discussions to only minorities and then Biden claiming the next supreme court justice would be a black female. Really?
- Buttigieg actually was the most polished by far with some actual positions. Should be interesting to see if he gets any momentum this week and takes moderate votes.
- I expect Bernie to win big in the next week and have a clear lead. Biden, Styer and Bloomberg just come across as wealthy guys that are disconnected with reality. Biden once again with a couple of gaff moments. The gift that keeps on giving.

I'm not sure Bernie wins in SC as the dynamics are different down there. Should be interesting.

Klobuchar and Buttigieg are the only ones that made any sense at all last night to me. Bloomberg was OK too.

Buttigieg is Corey Booker II IMO - very polished but his track record in South Bend is bad and he's been practicing for this moment for years without getting much actually done (most of South Bends comeback is due to a few developers and he really pissed off the minority communities there - they hate him). He's got the Harvard degree but no real experience.

Klobuchar has actually gotten stuff done and passed/sponsored many bills and is respected. She also makes good points during the debates and attacks carefully and seems to be relatable. I liked her bit on go to the CDC site - she showed she cares for everyone with those comments.

And Bloomie ran NYC pretty well (way better in comparison to Deblowhard) other than the nanny state stuff (big sodas) and buying his way to a third term which is what billionaires can do I guess.

I'm blown away that so many vote for Bernie - he's a complete nutjob who hasn't done anything (has barely passed any bills in all the years he has been in Congress and didn't have an actual job for years). Yet he is the frontrunner? Does anyone look at what these folks have actually done??

What a terrible job by CBS. They lost complete control of the first 45 minutes of that debate. I think Biden was angry because he was not allowed to talk at all and was the only one attempting to follow the rules - can't blame him but he's lost his luster and struggles to make key points. And why is Steyer even on the stage?

I thought Bloomberg held his own under a number of attacks but clearly almost said he bought those Dem seats wow! I said to my wife did you hear what he almost said and it was all over Twitter. That is gonna hurt.

Very little of the conversation last night had anything to do with what they will do as President. Isn't that the objective of debates???

What a mess!

Klobuchar is by far
the best. Unfortunately if your a moderate in this country you are in a minority . Trump has divided this country into two radical sides extreme left or extreme right . Klobuchar can work with both sides of the aisle which is the way you get things done.

I'm a moderate, but the division started long before Trump came into play.

Fair point past presidents leaned either way but Trump has widen the gap significantly and has made both the left and right more radical and vicious .

He has definitely exacerbated the situation, but so have politicians on the left.

I agree with that. The environment created Trump.
If it wasn't Trump, it would have been someone else not that dissimilar. I am afraid of the pendulum swing which is why I want someone who can bring us together over a ideological populist this time around.

On the debate last night, it was horrendous.
CBS and the DNC should be ashamed honestly.

I don't think last night will impact the polling or the results on Saturday or Tuesday and there will not be a path for anyone other than Bernie to win enough delegates without 5 of them dropping out the day we crush Nova next week.

Agree on this one Merge. Actually, the same environment that created Trump has created Bernie. Both the RNC and DNC have lost their way, meaning they have lost the public. How else do you have Trump (a lifetime Democrat) winning the Republican nomination and Presidency and Bernie, (an Independent) giving HRC a run and now likely to win the Democratic nomination and Bloomberg (previously a Republican) now fighting against them. And the MSM only cares about ratings.

Our best Presidents that got things done were moderates. I long for those days in this overly politicized era.

Most folks I talk to have a lean but it's not a hard lean one way or another. But if you read the press or listen to politicians or listen to media to me that is where the hardest leaners are and I still say it's not representative of most of our population. But little by little the media and politicians are winning over folks one by one to lean harder one way or another and there seems to be no room for someone who doesn't fit into their definition.

And the Primary process again is flawed as it will most likely present a hard lean one way and a hard lean the other, when what you really need to actually win is winning over moderate voters on one side or another.

Trump had a hand in it but I think the media contributed greatly to the divide also.

different media coverage of the same person would have produced a different result.
