anyone hear the status? I hope he stepped up and resolved whatever the issue was. Taking the trip to nova tomorrow and really hope to see all our starting sophomores out there. A few good desi dunks would be nice to see at the pavilion.

Situation has calmed down. Willard will decide what to do with Desi at game time.

Tonight is an important game, not necessarily about if we win or lose, but how they respond coming off the DePaul/Desi-gate game.

* How does Desi respond?
* How does the team respond?
* How does Willard respond?

Given the last five years and the January melt-downs, this is one of those critical junctures to see if we have a repeat or if things have really changed. If Desi got the message and comes out re-focused, then a great sign. If he doesn't play, plays poorly or the team doesn't use this as a rallying point or if we see the one-on-one nonsense, all the talk, tweets and other stuff is meaningless. Never thought I would say body language will be more important than shooting percentage, but tonight, I think that's the case.

The best thing about the Willard/Desi issues is that it's not being discussed in the media. How this issue is handled tonight will show if it's over or will raise its ugly head again.

Rebounding will be key. Desi helping out the bigs will be needed. However if Willard thinks he needs more time to reflect on his actions, so be it.
