i believe he mentioned one of the reasons it was cancelled was poor sentiment. dont know where he would get that idea...
Sounds like a lot of bullshit to me... I think it should be run anyway it has brought in some big sums of money over the last two years, will less come in this year? That is possible, but this costs the athletic department almost nothing. Dumb move in my mind..
Incredibly time consuming. Unless you are involved you can't imagine how much time this took from my spring and summer.
That and because of the comments on the board regarding Willard I don't think there will be nearly as much sentiment toward giving as there was in the first two years when we collected well over $100,000.00.
Fortunately those that want to give can do so this Thursday and have it matched by 30%.
