Tonights game makes me very nervous. We're a better team but can be handle the expectations now being placed upon the team.

I think our guys roll tonight, but we are definitely overdue for a sleepwalker. It's been more than 3 weeks.

What laurels, Seton Hall is 5-4 in the BE, LOL!!

The team knows what it has to do.

Not scared for tonight. If the kids come out not giving 100% effort it is on them. Don't want to hear about the crowd or any other nonsense. You play sports to be the best. You play for you and your teammates. They need to go out there and shock the world. If this is a special team (and it seems a lot of people think so), they will take care of business tonight and get a win.

You are what your record says you are. So let's put a win on the record.

Why worry? We're the better team. If Nova were playing Marquette, they would't be worried.

I'm over running scared worrying we're going to fold. We win tonight!!! Frank

They did hit the snooze button a couple of times against St. John's before getting to work. Hopefully they'll respond to the alarm right away tonight.

That's a good point. I'll rephrase. Other than in glorified scrimmages against community college level teams, our guys have played pretty consistently lately.

I worry a bit about Marquette coming into the Rock and playing the same kind of a game we played at Creighton after very poor performances at home. Wojo is a good coach, and I can imagine him challenging his team by saying they didn't see the real us [at out place] the first time around.

Last year we blew Marquette out in their building and then laid an egg at home. I believe that was the game when Sina quit. Tonight will be very telling as far as I am concerned.

I cannot foresee overconfidence being an issue here. Gaining confidence can only be a good thing for this team coming into it's own. A hard fought win here and any lingering doubt could turn to swagger. Huge 3 game stretch coming up, there will be no resting on laurels, just 3 great battles. Praying we start this thing out with a win.

We need this win to start separating ourselves from the rest of the bubble teams in the conference. I believe the team and the fans will be ready. It is not make or break but it will provide a little breathing room. Win the next three games and we will be in third place in the conference looking at possible getting to second with a few breaks. To paraphrase Teddy Roosevelt Junior on the beach at Normandy - "The season starts here". The path to the promised land begins with Marquette tonight. I already used the Norman Dale speech earlier this year so maybe KW should roll out the Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell) speech instead.

Was a noon game on Saturday and Marquette's best player was out and they were up 19-3 before you could blink. We slept walk the first 35 minutes and made a huge rally last 5 minutes but was too much to overcome.

Need to come out of the gates strong tonight.

Most of our homes games take a turn at either the 16 minute mark or especially the 12 minute mark of the first half. That's
usually where one of our starters has 2 fouls and KW inserts a player or 2 off the bench. Not always, but usually you can tell
if the Pirates are in for trouble by that point.

The good news is that KC and Gordon are really coming off subpar games. Plus Delgado is getting more and more involved
on the offensive side. IW is starting to look like a McDonald's All-American to me on a regular basis.

I'm anxious to see if Sanogo can contribute points on offense as he did at Creighton. His defense is high caliber BigEast and
any offense would be great to see moving forward.

So what are we going to see from Marquette? We'd better be ready from an all out effort from them. I don't anticipate Seton Hall being
flat, but this probably isn't going to be easy. I'd say SHU 73-69

Why is he a good coach? Because he's intense and looks pissed off all game? People were saying that he was 'already' a better coach than Willard last year, because we were awful at the BET. He may become a great coach, but right now, the jury is way out.

And they gave Wojo an extension until 2021. Don't understand why that was necessary when he hasn't proven anything so far. But it seems like these administrations do this all the time nowadays.

In six years, Willard has had exactly 1 team with a worse kenpom rating than this year's Marquette team, which starts 5 top 100 recruits and a lottery pick at power forward. They're young, but not much younger than us (Fischer is a 14th year junior, Wilson and Cohen are both sophomores).

Fzac, you may have missed last night's BE slate of games...rephrase to say that Marquette was the first team to lose to DePaul. And by the way, DePaul has talent, and they fight, they are not an easy out.
