Would you rather have 6 foot 3 shooting guard Briscoe at 48, or 6 foot 4 point guard whitehead who probably shoots and passes better?

Zimmerman will probably not go in first round. Has been injured and just a so so year. If he does go in the first it'll be on potential due to his size. He'd be better suited to stay in school for at east one more year.

I am surprised that Edmond Sumner doesn't get more attention in these mock drafts or draft boards. He is the starting point guard on the #5 team on the country, is 6'5", and super athletic. I would have to think he is a better prospect than Michael Carter-Williams who couldn't shoot a few years ago and still can't shoot.

Whitehead is a more complete player and prospect than Briscoe right now, and I don't think it is even close. Not to discount Briscoe, who is a terrific freshman, but his game is entirely to the bucket right now. He shouldn't think of declaring, but you know how that goes in recent years.

My view is that with some good play down the stretch, in the BE tourney and/or the NCAA tourney, Whitehead will play himself into the first round. But I'm okay with that, because if he plays at a high level it means that we are definitely making noise in March, and it has been a LONG time since that occurred.

Sumner can't shoot either.

Last I looked Briscoe's shooting stats from everywhere (2 pt %, 3 pt % and Ft %) were epically bad for a guard, or anyone for that matter. And he was showing up in the 1st round in a lot of mocks up until recently.

I don't see Henry Ellenson as 12 spots better than Melo Trimble.

trimbles stock is falling fast, ellenson has been doing very well.

Whitehead is not ready for the pros but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't declare for the draft. I recently looked at one of the mock drafts and in the first round there were 14 freshman listed and 4 foreign players leaving 13 slots open in the first round to be filled by players like Dunn and other upperclassmen. The reality is , at this point in time, IW is not a first round pick but if he stays another year and he works hard to improvehis skill set he is.
