The logical explanation for Dual transferring is that he thought we’re brining in someone better to play that stretch 2/combo guard position. But then again we are talking about Seton Hall…

No one wants an injured player in a year at a time basis. No major program would pay him anything meaningful bc it is unclear if he can play.

Even without the injury, you would be getting a specialty player. Dual can play defense at the high major level, but the offensive game is just nonexistent even with his slow improvement throughout this year. He can move the ball around and occasionally hit a midrange, that’s it. Cannot score of the bounce, does not attack the rim, and is not an outside shooter. Not a creator, no hostage dribble despite his size. 🤣

He was not ready to be a BE starting PG by any measure this year. I was surprised how far off he was based on the year at PC, hype, and hope.
