NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Jada Eads (Orlando, Fla.) was named BIG EAST Women's Freshman of the Week on Monday.

It's the fifth time she's received this prestigious weekly honor this season.

Eads had two more big efforts for Seton Hall last week, leading the Pirates with 19.5 points per game. On Wednesday against Marquette, she erupted for a game-high 26 points on 10-for-21 shooting to go with three rebounds and two steals. On Sunday at Providence, Eads again led The Hall with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Connecticut's Azzi Fudd was named BIG EAST Player of the week. Members of the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll include: Connecticut's Sarah Strong, Creighton's Morgan Maly, Marquette's Skylar Forbes, St. John's Lashae Dwyer and Villanova's Maddie Webber.

Seton Hall will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 19 when it returns to a sold out historic Walsh Gymnasium to host No. 4 Connecticut. Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on SNY.
