Per Zags he or his representatives have been contacted by St. John's, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Clemson, NCState and by none other then Seton Hall. Whoever said kiddingly on this Board in a semi-serious / semi- joking way may have been right.

Unfortunately he's damaged goods as a basketball player; not the same since before the injury. Hopefully he chooses a school with a master's program he's really interested in, because he's going to need that degree.

Does anyone seriously think we'll be able to land a quality guard , especially a point guard, given all the negatives about this program?

Anthony Collins might have been a temporary solution, even though he apparently didn't progress as expected at USF. He unfortunately has since committed to Texas A&M, a strange choice on the surface because the Aggies roster is deep at guard.

Surely there must be a Juco guard out there that can bring the ball up the floor and help out against the presses that the Pirates are bound to see. Two legitimate guards on the roster and no true point guard? Press, press, press.

You DO NOT want Carter. If you have locker room issues now, he won't help.
He also has lost a step or two since his injury.

At this point what does Willard have to lose. Talent-wise we are not going to do better than a guy like Carter.

Do you really think Seton Hall/Willard could do better? I think not. Who cares at this point, what's one more headache to deal with. Let it fly.

Willard won't be able to coach any talent that comes in. Gibbs was our go to guy for so many games. It's over till Willard is gone. Maybe Danny has another good season at URI and we go after him
