As a freshman in 2021-22: Appeared and started in all 29 games for the Govs ... led the Govs in scoring at 12.3 points per game, registering a team-high 21 games in double figures ... led APSU at 6.8 rebounds per contest, registering seven games with double-digit rebounds ... scored 20 or more points in three games while having seven games with at least 10 rebounds ... led the Govs in scoring a team-high 11 times and the team in rebounds a team-high 14 times ... led the OVC with five OVC Freshman of the Week awards ... led APSU with a .510 field goal percentage, tallying 16 games shooting over 50 percent from the field ... became the only freshman in school history to lead the team in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage during freshman campaign ... registered six double-doubles to lead the Govs ... recorded a career-high 25 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Dayton ... was 9-of-10 from the field with four rebounds and 20 points at North Florida ... in a career-high 37 minutes, scored 20 points to go along with six rebounds on 8-of-13 shooting from the field against SIU Edwardsville ... earned final double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds at Eastern Illinois ... ended the regular season ranking fifth in the OVC in rebounds per game and offensive rebounds per game ... ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA amongst freshman in both scoring and rebounding.

Prior to Austin Peay: Comes to Clarskville as a much-heralded big man from Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, Connecticut, which churned out a dozen participants in last season's NCAA Tournament in addition to current Detroit Piston and 2019 NBA Dunk Contest champ Hamadou Diallo... earned four-star ratings by both ESPN.com—which ranked him the No. 2 player in Connecticut for the 2021 class and the No. 20 center in the country—and Scout.com. 247Sports.com, which had him as the No. 35 center and No. 5 prospect from the state of New Jersey, where Hutchins-Everett starred at Immaculate Conception before spending his final two seasons at the prestigious Connecticut prep school... attracted plenty of high-major recruiting attetnion, including Penn State, Rutgers, Miami, Villanova, Iona, Syracuse and Seton Hall... skilled big with soft touch to mid-range and a burgeoning long-range game to complement his ability to win any post battle, also will be counted on to provide interior defending and shoulder his share of the rebounding duties... his junior season, averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds for the eventual national champion Mustangs... also was announced as a participant at the 2016 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October minicamp.
