Good inside info Blueswayedshus. This has been in the works for well over a month. Not sure how you got your info as it was supposed to be released by the schools.

I was there once. Great gym for the type of program Grant has.
Sha has given Grant an open invitation to play us whenever he wants to in the regular season. Grant understandably wants to first bring in some quality recruits of his own before taking up the offer.

When looking to play the smaller D1 schools in the OOC, games against other Pirate coaches would be great.
Their entire athletic complex looks fantastic. Looking forward to see it.
Do you mind going into some more detail regarding parking? It looks like there is a parking deck a block away. What makes parking so difficult? I’ve never been so looking for some more information before I buy tickets. Thanks.
There is a parking garage off New Street about a block away from the arena . I've never used it but I believe it's a paid lot . I try to street park in the area of the garage but it's tough getting a space . Saturday afternoon might be easier to get a space since classes will not be in session . I've been there on Weekday nights .
P.S. Just about across the street from the garage on New Street was the old County Jail that housed the County Narcotic Bureau . I worked there for a couple of years in the 80s . It was from there the investigation of Frank Lucas was conducted . That case was later made into a movie , American Gangster .

Grant mentioned to me that there is a tiered parking lot about a minute walk from the arena. Similar to what SHU has on campus.
never been to McGoverns- looks like a short distance. Also have been to Marcus B P which is very good. Maybe McGoverns pre and BP post. Good way to start the season.
