The league is better. Specifically Georgetown and St. John’s. We went 4-0 against them in a 10-10 season. Heck we were 2-10 against teams above us last year anyway lol. How can we be better?
1. We saw the style we’re going to play. Do the turnovers and shooting improve? Year 2 for guys and others are better offensive players than those who left. Right there alone would be a major improvement as a team.
2. Our frontcourt last year was not good on the whole and we lost Samuel and Ndefo. The numbers when they were out were scary and often key differentials in our losses. But can the aggregate production be better if none of the individuals are as good as them? Idk. Maybe Davis handles the spot and we get 40 minutes of real center play instead of 25. We have more bodies that’s for sure.
John giving the our squad a home court discount. Are we relying on Dawes and Harris as our PG's this year? Mamma mia!

If you can't be positive 10 weeks before the start of the season, when can you be?
No question the league is better. That’s a good thing, but certainly means SHU has a lot of ground to catch up.
I think Sha lost more talent on paper than he has coming in, but I’m very curious to see how he can get the most out of what he has. Can the sum of these guys be better than the individual talent?
I’m hoping that this year Sha is more prepared both on and off the court as he gets the full summer to figure things out
