I guess I'm the last one to find out that the Final Four is not on CBS. (I know it happened last year.)

It's hard to argue with CBS business decisions. They've been No. 1 for years.

I do believe that decisions like this add more anger to the millions of households who have been cutting the cord.

There's a reason TV viewership has sharply declined. If you keep jerking people around they will leave and never return.

Why would CBS not look to bring in as many viewers as possible?

Starting next season, I read that CBS and TBS will alternate broadcasting the FF until 2024.

This has been known for years now, ever since the new contract with CBS/Turner. The championship game will be on CBS Monday night.

Ah,... but certain sports viewing numbers are on the rise. Like the NCAA tournament!

Nothing will be like it used to be -- it's impossible given the number of options --- but don't be surprised if this weekend doesn't produce the biggest ratings over the last 25 years.

and the other turner platforms will have teamcast broadcasts at the same time

TBS is part of the standard package of every cable company there is. It's also available on Direct TV. It's far from a TV backwater.
