Still trying to process and appreciate the legalities of yesterday's two major decisions in Washington, but it seems as if it was a good day for the crooks.

Flynn did not do anything illegal from a Logan Act perspective confirmed unanimously by SCOTUS. You don't get too many unanimous decisions from our justices. What he did was totally inappropriate and morally wrong for sure and he should not be in government. It also shed light on the FBI which really needs to get their house in order and also sheds light on our Justice System in general which has gotten way too political like everything else on both sides.
Bridget Kelly was always a person that did some dumb things but she was really a small cog here and should not have gotten jail time. Baroni on the other hand was a complete crook and took huge advantage of his position at the PA (United flights and getting him and his family escorted through the airport without going through security is the tip of the iceberg). Total crook and its unfortunate that he got off. Another total crook was Wildstein and he was the one who sang to the Feds to get immunity when he thought up the whole scheme. Dumb, dangerous hire by the Christie administration with Wildstein and they paid for it dearly. And Christie had to know, but also knows the law and doubted they would take things as far as they did. Christie also had some dirt on a few people and knew it would not reach him.
So far both parties under the last two Presidents have weaponized the FBI, Justice Dept and other areas of government (IRS for example) when they have been in power and that is the most dangerous precedent. Very, very bad for our country. To me that is the real issue and its not getting any better.
