Two important things to know:

1-Providence is trying to get the game time changed because the Patriots are scheduled to play at the same time. (FOX might put the kibosh on that since it's a FS1 game).

2-Tickets are selling fast and it's likely to sell out prior to game day. Don't expect to drive up the day of the game and get tickets at the box office.

I sure hope it's not changed. That's the game for the national alumni game watch. They've been promoting the heck out of it and a change would be challenging.

Marquette plays at home at 2 pm Eastern on FS1. Wonder if Providence will try to switch with Marquette .

Is Seton Hall/Providence going to do a much better TV rating if they moved the game to another time? I doubt it.

This, plus it's pretty late to change the time for this one. The NFL "flexes" game times regularly, but there is no issue with effectively getting the word out on that. I'd be really surprised to see this one changed.

Might have much more to it than that -- a ton of logistics involved, plus the network schedules are crammed. It's a lot more complicated than trading slots with another game.

Personally, it shouldn't even be a discussion. It's a second-round NFL playoff game. Kind of small-time on their part.
