For the great HD1 who among many things is also a big pro wrestling fan. Former Pirate baseball player Anthony Bowen’s discovered in wrestling by Former WWE superstar Santino Marella wrestled for AEW in tonight’s Pay for view.

He was eliminated in the casino battle royal but gave a nice showing and appears to have a bright future in the business.

Anthony Bowens is part of a tag team called The Acclaimed. His partner is Max Caster, the son of former Jets tight end Rich Caster.

Also making an appearance on the AEW PPV was Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer. Tony Khan, co-owner of the Jaguars also runs the wrestling organization.

The scene involving Meyer was a call back to a scene involving WWE Chairman Vince McMahon during its 2020 Money In The Bank PPV.

I worked with him at a prior employer he is a really good person...he was enhancement talent for nxt in 2016 and suffered a brutal concussion in a botched spot...glad to see his effort and hard work pay off...nj.com from earlier this year...know there is a section of folks here that dont agree with his lifestyle
