Desi's benching had a silver lining as it gave Veer Singh an oportunity to display his talents beyond being simply a post up 3 point shooter. Veer played a nice all around game and put himself in position to play extended minutes in the future.

I loved the tough putback he had among the trees; even had a steal and acquitted himself quite well on defense. I think he is going to become more and more of a fan favorite, and gives us an added reason to b bullish about this team. Frank

Totally agree.

Can't remember last time I was so excited about a Pirate team since Reagan & Dukes moved to the varsity. In thoae days, freshmen were not permitted to play on the varsity.

If KW can keep himself and players in check, I have the feeling we're in for a wild ride. Frank
