Gas Stoves

This one is beginning get framed up along political lines. Just what we need.

My wife and I both grew up with gas stoves and ovens.

Through most of our married life we had electric. It sucked for cooking.

We put gas in our current home. She is in culinary heaven resulting in me being in gastronomic heaven.

We are confident our filter-less centrifuge Vent-a-Hood will remove all the horrible things the stove emits.

We will keep our grandson in the garage while we cook just to be sure. We'll set up a table and chair for him so he can reflect and decide how he wants to identify once he gets to Pre-K.

Cooking is a hobby for me. Regardless of the politics, electric sucks, but I have been considering switching to induction.

More efficient than gas and electric. Boils water faster, better temperature control, gets hotter and simmers lower than gas and the cooktop doesn’t get hot. Lots in the pro column.

You can even get a portable unit for under $100 to see if it you would like it or not which is something I’ll do before I buy a new oven.

The answer is simply making sure you have make up air while you cook with your fan on. This still has not been scientifically proven which many scientists have said. The study was a study of other studies and they basically came up with a mathematical equation to come up with their findings.

There is no solid proof that this is true. It could be, but this is not scientifically proven.

I guess that's the question though. If we get to a point where it is scientifically proven that gas stoves even with ventilation cause an increased risk of asthma and cognitive impairment issues, what then?

Right. That was my point. I don't really think it would matter that much if it were true.

For arguments sake though, if there really was strong evidence of significant harm to children with gas stoves (which I am not at all convinced of) then I do think it would be the governments role to step in with regulation.

Climate change alarmists at work.Too bad more people not informed on climate change which will go down as the most misguided movement in modern history.that scared the masses into thinking the world could end in 12 years if emissions are not drastically reduced.Well since China not decreasing in next 12 years there is nothing to do ,but wait for the end.Too many scientists working on global warming disastrous effect on climate that are funded by government.Do you think they have any incentive to challenge the narrative if so I have a bridge to sell you.

Impossible to stop anything that’s going to happen. I still do my part but not going to change anything.
