Glad we've got Creighton instead of Butler......

Creighton will not be easy but it's a better matchup for us than Butler for sure. Our guys need to bring the intensity Thursday night.

I also was hoping for Creigh, but, they are very well coached, and Watson[if healthy] is a handful. You must defend both Milliken and Zierden closely, they can go off for 3's. Huff and Harrell have been contributing much more for them lately, and the 2 bigs down low get theirs too.
Not an easy matchup, hopefully we have Derrick and Desi ready to go; I will say this-when Seton is playing its game, we are one nice ballclub!
Oh, and 1 more thing: Isaiah, of course, has been absolutely electric lately

I think it's a better matchup too. However I would prefer Butler considering their RPI is much better and chasing Mo Watson for 40 minutes is not a good way to start a journey of 3 games in 3 days. I hope we can take care of business early allowing to go deeper into the bench or having the luxury to play zone to give guys a rest.

Creighton looked awful good in the 2nd half vs Xavier today.

GO PIRATES !!!

Creighton, will not be an easy out however, we are the better team. If Carrington is hitting his shots (among other obvious things i.e., rebounding, defense, etc.) we will be a very dangerous team in both upcoming tournaments.

Especially early in the game. We cannot come out timid trying to feel them out and watch them drain threes for an early 12 point lead. I'd love to see intense lock down D right out of the shoot.

Let's just make sure we extend the lead to 7 in the first half and take a lead into halftime... If we do those 2 things, everything will work itself out in the 2nd half.

:D
