The B12 was just awful. I mean did Iowa State even box out once the entire game? And George Niange looked like he forced many shots to make up for the shots he didn't get to take being hurt in last years NCAA.

And does anybody in basketball underachieve more than Texas and Rick Barnes? They should not have been in it anyway.

I felt bad for Niang. Brutal performance by a good player..

Will Texas' new AD part ways with Barnes?

You are both spot on, but I have to believe it came down to coaching. I mean Larry Brown got a questionable call but had 2 shots to win the game after that. Shaka Smart got exactly the shot he wanted for his team it just didn't go down.

How does Baylor let GSU go on a 13-0 run against them and Iowa State thought they were going to cruise even giving up 19 more possessions. At least UCLA showed up Texas really did not belong.
