Okay, it's Tues., 3 days have elapsed since the Creighton game, here's my take for Seton in the immediate future.
Look, this team has some talent-we've had some nice wins this yr. There's plenty of time to make an impact this season, have a nice solid season. If this team plays up to its talent level [and its potential], 9-9 in league, to me a reachable goal. I choose to believe that this group of guys will get there-let's hope!
Contrary to popular opinion, I think CU is a darn good ball club, with a darn good Coach; they came in very ready, and hungry, against us on Sat. As I stated prior to the game, the point, Watson, is a special player. Let's see what they do 2nite at home vs Prov. I'll be watching-I like to scout out future opponents[that's how I came to my opinion on Watson].
Regardless, our success is firmly in the hands of our staff and players. It is not a stretch to say that the staff knows that another league-season meltdown is probably curtains for their future here. As some posters have said regarding Sat.'s disappointing loss, prudence states that we let the season play out before we all jump to conclusions.
I'm on board with that philosophy. Let's all hope that the results are satisfactory
