What is your point about nuclear families other than to be a jerk?
Overall my point is this, the mother and father are well educated and established professionals, would seem to be a good core but there are clearly abnormalities in that household. I feel for Claudia and I can only hope any emotional and mental trauma she is facing can be resolved and lead her to a happy enviroment.

He has some issues (jealousy?) regarding traditional families, upbringing and values. Kind of desperate to cherry pick a family (that as you said is dealing with an issue) to counter mounds of statistics that show a child has a better chance in life growing up in a nuclear family. But that's how he rolls....

Yeah, gotta agree with you on that. Also not sure the Conway family is the prime example of a nuclear family. More like a dysfunctional reality TV family.
I think there would be a great interest in the family having a reality platform presence

Sure. Some single-parented kids turn out great, and some from wealthy, educated, two-parent homes are a disaster. It really goes without saying, except we have to explain it for NYShoreGuy.
You don't have to explain it to him. He's admitted in the past he comes here to incite. He gets his rocks off on some of this stuff. If there's 10 shootings in Chicago, he'll never ask if those people come from a nuclear family, he'll only bring it up the few times it looks good for his argument.
