Said Isaiah missed the bus for the walkthrough today, but showed a lot of maturity, got himself a cab over to the arena, was angry with himself, etc and hence the early benching. Willard wasn't upset, but rather sounded happy with how Isaiah bounced back. Sorry if this was posted elsewhere already. I didn't see it.

it's a little silly piratz, but I post this not to take aim at willard or isaiah. I think stuff like this happens and the bounce back from it is what KW was trying to impress upon.

I'm sure it does happen. I actually chuckled when Willard said he told him it was no big deal and not starting because of it wasn't punishment, it's just how it goes. LOL. Chuckled because, yep, that sounds our team; contradictory.

How a star player goes on a road trip for a tournament, and proceeds to miss the bus and hails a cab to shoot around is beyond me. Silly for sure.

But anyway, Whitehead impressed me with how he didn't sulk during the game and played tough down the stretch after so many turnovers early (think he ended with 6).

What happened with Myles Carter missing games is an in house matter. Willard handled the situation perfectly IMO. It was different than Whitehead missing a bus.

Myles learned from his error and everyone has now moved on.

Readers, you have to stop looking under every rock to criticize Willard. Often you do not know the entire story and your criticism is off base.

Let's concentrate on the here and now. Heaven knows enough has been posted about the past.

This is a very young team with a lot of potential. That should be the focus of our fan base this early in the season.

No I didn't. I know what Carter did and it wasn't just for being late.

Totally different situation. Carter made a freshmen mistake and was punished for it by KW in a proper manner. I never got specific because it's something that should stay in-house.

Carter learned from what he did and the matter was closed after his missing two games.

Also, Trove information is supposed to stay on that board unless it becomes public. So even if I had posted what you said the info was not for the free board.
