Govt Shut down, debt ceiling economy crash, supply chain crash, climate disasters, impending solar flare storms, pandemic still being zombied into existence, housing bubble on the horizon, inflation permanently eating savings...

how many ways are politicians/ultra rich going to pull strings to increase the wealth disparity.

is there any good news these days???

Everyone in government loves a crisis. More attention on them, more $$$, etc.

It sure would be nice if housing came back to realistic levels. I'm ready to move from my starter home, but I'm not paying 30% over a homes value on my next house.

even though information is more accessible to the point where its shoved down our throats, it STILL seems like theres less hope for the future then ever.

you could shutoff all internet but then be unprepared when the bubble blows. its a bit depressing

well dont worry when it all pops the prices will drop so blackrock can buy up everything

What do you expect when the populous continues to elect these idiots.

It’s absolutely amazing to see the same trouble makers year after year. How about simple age limit nobody over 72 can run for any office. Maxine waters 83 years old, Nancy pelosi 81 years old, Mitch McConnell 79. These are the people setting future policies?
I do Technical analysis on stocks and the market, and the immediate future looks very bad. Money has already started leaving the market, relative strength levels have turned, more sellers than buyers. I could be wrong but Dow 26,000 coming in the months ahead. Meantime the moves in digital coins could be off the charts. Time to seriously consider protecting your money. When the market falls housing market will collapse. You will have your pick of houses, only problem is your house will also be worth less.

We will never get age or term limits these jobs are too cushy and profitable.

this is what im talking about. whats the actual move here? should i just take all my money out, pause 401k contributions, and trade all my money for gold bars? whats the play here? just wait it out? im pretty long term on my apple and msft shares lol

Keep your money in. You'll ride it down and then ride it way back up.

As for housing its overinflated, it SHOULD come down.

Yeah, just keep buying. If you’re not selling anytime soon, it will eventually go back up, and you’re just getting some at a discount. I’m also still bullish on crypto long term. Still so early there if you don’t mind the volatility.

Been playing with NFT’s a bit the last month which is fun as well.

Which Cryptos and NFT's are you buying? I just discovered the VeVe app which allows you to buy licensed Marvel Comic books as NFT's.

I’m older so waiting for things to recover is not for me. A lot depends on your age, continue buying while it’s dropping if you have a long time line. I’m going to be buying the coins but do not recommend anyone do that. Very risky without studying and doing technical analysis. The current market looks very similar to the 2007 market right before we lost about 45%. Hold onto your blue chip stocks. I could be wrong don’t want to cause any stress. Longer time line stay the course.

I’m big on Cardano waiting for it to drop down a bit. Gray scale has a fund that has bitcoin Etherium and Cardano trades as GDLC. These funds are not buy and hold though. They run up and you need to know when to sell. Like being at a casino, can be fun if you win or make you sick to your stomach if you lose.

I’m holding Bitcoin, Eth, Cardano, Algorand and Chainlink. Oh, and XYO.. had only put $50 in on that one a while back. Sitting at a 70x currently which is crazy. Tried to sell it when it was worth $150 but the fees to sell it were too high and I forgot about it. Ha.

Really not planning on selling any anytime soon.
Mainly looking at NFT’s for flipping as a way to get more Ethereum. The first one I wanted to buy was a Veefriend, but couldn’t convince myself to spend 1Eth at the time, now selling around 15-20 Eth each. Really just started about a month ago. Flipped 3 so far on opensea for a gain of .5 Eth. Lots of crap out there though.

I had a 401K that lost about half its value during the last market crash. When I flipped it to an IRA a few years ago, it was about double its original value.

NFTs are just another scam for the rich like fine art. crypto is prob a sham too, but if you stick to 1-3 main coins you can prob make some money and cash out at some point.

thats the hope. cant touch it anyway. but from what ive been reading this could be potentially a different scenario from 2008 and maybe worse

Join an investment group that studies the coins about 21/2 years ago. If you like numbers and charts which I think you do, the big coins are very predictable. They are a technical analysis dream come true. No emotion no news just the charts. I do all my own TA but follow for fun crypto Steve on youtube.

Got out of Cardano at $3.07, waiting to buy back which should occur at $1.30 to $1.60. Solid support at $1.30. Next stop in my opinion $5.00

My son-in-law is really into NFT’s. Still trying to understand this space. He bought Stoner Cat…is seems like it’s done well.

Yeah, I only trade a little for now. Try to chart myself but not really my expertise honestly. Feel like I have done better just holding projects I like and waiting. I follow Ben Cowan on youtube, not really for trading but he does a good job showing where we are in the market cycles. I'll check out Crypto Steve.
Just stay away from Bitboy! lol..

In my opinion 99% of the projects currently out now will go to zero eventually, but the ones that are developing a type of unique utility have lasting potential. The potential in the space itself is really exciting to me.

These kind of crack me up though. Might get @shu09 into the NFT space with a "Lockdown lemming" ;)

You're welcome?

Just being honest there. I hold the rest in projects I believe will last. Got lucky with xyo so far, but that project could fail and drop back down fairly easily. I keep it in a different wallet and don't really think about it. The point there was that a lot of crypto is just dumb luck.

Doesn’t make any difference to me what a man does for a living
