- Was huge for Dawes to hit his first 2 from 3. Although he missed his next 3 he had confidence and took smart shots. Nobody falls more while dribbling than Al but we need him to hit his shots at a good rate and today he was great.
- Sha coached a Great Game! Convinced the team it was must-win and they gave strong effort. Shortened the bench to basically 7 players which kept our best defenders on the floor. He left Samuel in, called TOs to avoid large runs and constantly changed up defensive looks to stymie St Johns' offense.
- Samuel got extended run and although he had a tough battle with Soriano, Tyrese played him tough. Stayed out of Foul trouble and gave it back on the offensive end with 16 & 9 and 3 steals.
- Richmond was awesome with 19-9-6 and 3 steals. He made good decisions, controlled tempo and spread the ball around. He showcased his scary talent in the beginning of the 2nd half. He blocked a shot and grabbed the rebound with 1 hand. Then he took the ball up and lost his defender just past halfcourt with a behind the back crossover, he drove into the paint and hit a pretty runner.
- KC and Femi were tough and never back off from anyone. They helped on Soriano, crashed the boards and were efficient on offense. Glue guys.
- Dre Davis is giving us efficient offense off the bench. He's our best finisher from 10 feet and in. He varies his moves, uses his body and gets his shot off quickly.
