G'town odds

Seems like a pickem game with a slight edge to GTown for playing at home. Hayes injury could be the difference. This is a game that Seton Hall can certainly win.

This team has responded well all season long. Hoping for the same tomorrow following a week off after the disappointing loss to Butler.

They have a lot of height and length on all levels of the floor and it bothered our guards last time. We were tight with them for most of the game last time around. Delgado and Ish were great and we'll need that again.

This is a game you'd like us to hit some threes and help with the spacing. Carrington
and Singh missed some really good looks against Gtown at Prudential. I think they are going
to really focus on Delgado this time around. So I Carrington and Desi have to balance out the scoring.

Seton Hall's Point Spread Record As...

AWAY TEAM 6-1-0
UNDERDOG 8-1-0
AWAY DOG 5-1-0

And we won chicken sandwiches at Verizon because Sterling missed two foul shots in a row.l

Tough spot, don't like the week off.

I don't think you should not like that. A week off should give the team a chance to regroup, rest, watch Gtown tape, understand their offense and defense. This is a game they've had plenty of time to prepare for. A good team and a good coach will get up for this game and tear apart a very wounded Gtown.

I watched a replay of last game just to confirm this but right before the tip I saw heads down, low energy. I want to see ferocity before the ball even tips. This team needs to be disciplined and on point. Hope they pull it off.

Call me crazy but Govan is a lot better than Hayes. Not sure the injury really affects them

I agree Govan is better but there is very little behind him and he is very foul prone.

Everybody drive the lane, get Govan and Mourning into foul trouble early. Flash will handle DSR and it's a cruise. Cameron and Govan should be Pirates anyway.

I actually think the week off will help.
The offense needed some fine tuning and players needed some time to work on their shots. Attack the paint but it helps when they have to at least respect the 3 point shot on someone other than IW.

On defense, I think we really bring it tonight.

I'm expecting SHU to dominate.

the odds of throwing the remote through your tv went up. wally rutecki working the game.
I have to credit my boy Wally on the offensive foul that Singh drew on a GT fastbreak. That was a ballsy call, but the right one. Good bit of officiating there that many would be afraid to make.

Save, IMO that call is made most all of the time except of course at Cameron Indoor. I thought it was obvious.

You think so Dan? Maybe you're right, but I can't remember the last time I saw a play like that. But I have no problem taking credit away from Wally.

Hey, I could be wrong as it's just my opinion. But the shoulder was so blatant that to me there was no other call. Except of course if a guy named K was on the sideline.
