I know Ish is relatively young compared to his grade and he was still growing last year ( which effects athletic performance ), but I'm beginning to believe that Willard under utilized him last year. Especially considering that mobley wasn't a good defender and was sporadic with his scoring. IW should have played shooting guard, desi should have played the 3, Sina's numbers should have been reduced, with Ish being the first guy off the bench at the 4.

I wen to see Ish play Montclair in his senior year at East side. I remember watching the game thinking we have a replacement for FU. Hearing that he grew 3 inches from that time explains some of his awkwardness on the court in his limited time last year. He has the same tenacity that Edwin had on the court, instincts that you can't teach. Now that his body has caught up to his court awareness, we're in for exciting times since we have him for another two and half seasons!

Should he have played more? I dunno. Suppose he had. Maybe he would not be the same player he is today or will become, simply because he channeled that frustration in the weight room. How about this: What if another variable crept into his recruiting and he never came to Seton Hall? I'll take the current scenario any day of the week. I only see positives here.

Not sure if you are right, maybe if he played more minutes last year, he might have progressed and earn more minutes. Willard didn't have the leisure to let him play. I'm not sure his contributions, last year, warranted more playing time.
