Believe it or not but coach Willard played all three freshman in the season opener on Tuesday! Granted one of the frosh only saw the court for 5 minutes but the other two saw substantially more with guard Harris-Smith starting & logging 27 minutes! Go Figure
At the Hall, freshman hardly sniffed court time. Post game. Willard had nothing but heaps of praise for the trio.

Isaiah, Angel, khadeen, myles. Maybe he recruited kids not deserving of more time. Jared and sandro played around 10 mpg.

That’s because they have their own practice facility. It’s a prerequisite for freshman to see playing time.

This is a false narrative. As has been pointed out above, Willard played freshmen if they showed they deserved minutes.

After the class that brought in Tyrese and Anthony Nelson, Willard's recruiting dropped off and so did the playing time for the incoming freshmen. Or do people here think that Dimingus Stevens, Jo Smith and Tyler Powell among others were better options than what we had?
