I realize that most of the BE teams are in the Eastern Time Zone . I think DePaul,Creighton, Xavier ,Marquette are in the Midwest . But to have 2 consecutive games with a 9:00 o'clock starting time ,I have to question the scheduling .If the Seton Hall faithful bring their kids to the game on a week day , it is tough to get kids off to school the next day when the little Pirates are getting to bed after 12:00 .Also tough for working parents.

I haven't looked at the schedules of all the BE teams But inFebruary after the Super Bowls, I was wondering if some of the weekend games could be scheduled in the afternoons,Saturday and Sunday

I'm sure they're scheduling around Fox Sports. The money dictates we may get stuck witth some of these late games.. Our more elite status (winning) may garner better starting times in the future.

I expect a large crown on Wednesday for Butler (6:30 game time). Frank

the devils played yesterday afternoon. Too short of a turnaround for the rock to have a 7 pm bball game?

Not sure how 9 pm on a weekend could be too late. Have a dinner and guzzle a few beers beforehand.

The parking lot next to the Edison charged $5 more because it was a late game.

well it was one of a handful of college games on at that point, part of big east deal with fox and cbs

We have improved facilities with the money a 9pm start brings. I don't like a 9pm either, but I will watch these guys whenever they play....

could be worse, monmouth has a fri home game at 10 on espn family of networks in 2 fridays

rest of schedule time pretty fair, the away gtown game is a wed at 9 but that also because its a fs1 doubleheader night

Nope, 9pm start had nothing to do with the Devils game.
It was for the tv purposes.

The Prudential Center crew can turn hockey into basketball for a 8pm start easily and even a 7pm tipoff if necessary.

From what I can tell most of the fans enjoyed the extra pregaming time.

Based on the outcome , why complain . We won. The time is small potatoes. It's Sunday at 11:23 AM and I just got back and I'm happier than a clam in mud!!

the 9pm start allowed me to get to the game (from about 1hr 30min away). First game I've been to in 2 years. I wouldn't have been able to go earlier. So, I liked it.

On a weekday getting to the Rock, the 9pm game is great. So much easier getting in and out of Newark. I would take it every weekday game. As for Saturday, it's a night out. Think this coming Wednesday at 630 stinks. Navigating rush hour in Newark and all the surrounding roads getting there is awful

What Shu needs to change next year is Wednesday games. It's the biggest night class day of the week. Probably the toughest night for the student draw.

Although some of the scheduling has been less than ideal compared to seasons past when you consider how much SHU has benefited from Big East 2.0 the 9pm starts are a small concession to make.

When will you people understand that SH has no say in the BE schedule dates and times the BE doesn't the schedule and TV dictates the times of the games and also the Devils games do play into this. plus there was a WSOU function that started at 7pm prior to the game.

We had a good crowd. It still came in late but it filled up nicely. Crowd was into it. Nice showing by the students. Great night. I got home and was still amped up, so I went to my dvr and brought the game up and realized I taped 2 and a half men...lol

Did I somehow infer that Seton Hall has a say in scheduling? My point was that we clearly are at the mercy of Fox (among other factors) but if a 8:30/9pm tip-off is the price we occasionally have to pay then what's wrong with that? Seton Hall more than other schools has greatly benefitted from the rebooted Big East.

If we are talking about scheduling, I would love all Prov and Georgetown games on Saturdays, to allow for alums to travel to the respective sites for weekend trips. I would also suggest same if Nova would schedule us in Wells Fargo rather than DuPont.

would rather have a 9pm game than a 6:30 week night game any day of the week (I know most don't agree but it's so easy getting in and out of there at that time of night)....trying to get to Newark tomorrow w/the traffic down there should be an absolute blast.
