What I really wanted to hear on the call, when Trump is saying that what they are doing in Georgia “is criminal”, is one of them firing back with just how dangerous, and potentially criminal depending on action, trying to overthrow election results is.
Sorry. What the Georgia sec of State is doing is courageous especially when compared to those in Congress. He is standing up to the President while ducking death threats from people in his own party. He should not be criticized. He should be praised for doing the right thing and standing up for democracy in a very difficult situation.
Not sure what I was criticizing. I’m in full agreement with everyone’s reaction with this thread and would love someone, anyone, to finally call out Trump for what this is tracking toward, an attempted coup. I thought it was crazy and dangerous enough when the martial law meeting rumors were floated, but he continues to push and it amazes me that 100% of the Republican Party haven’t distanced themselves.

The behavior is almost to the extent that he should be removed from office, but I guess that’ll just play out over the next 2 weeks. Pence would have done a better job the last month.
