Heads Up Tip on NBA

I thought this thread was going to be about the fanduel gimmick where the lakers line ended up at +51 ... anyone that didn’t get in on that missed out on FREE money

Another one that has no empathy for others. This handle said earlier the movement of black lives matter has been pushed down the throat. 3 months you are tired ok, how about black lives and other minorities feeling and be treated a certain way for far more than 3 months.

wrong again. I was born and raised in newark and have witnessed first hans social injustice. politics have no place in sports be it BLM , MAGA or whatever you want to say. will this save one life in south side of chicago tonight?

I grew up in the hood where most of these posters wouldn’t last. Saw it everyday but white boys got beat up by AA girls n no one could touch em. These cats had a chance like the rest. Most wound up in jail in my hood selling. Not sure cats get it.
Not every kid from the hood pushes dope and runs guns

Oh good another shut up and dribble type. A lot of reasonable people, pro athletes included, had their patience go out the window when george floyd took his last breath. JJ Redick met the press tonight after the game that those here didnt watch

Btw i will be checking turner ratings by 2 days i am sure it will score well

The saddest part about kneeling during the anthem is that the rich, famous, powerful professional athletes do a little vanity display to spread awareness instead of helping the issue. Who are they expecting to fix these issues? The poor or middle class?

Professional athletes have the power and influence to lead change, but instead pass the buck and just do a little symbolic thing under the guise of ‘awareness’. They are no better than the politicians who always talk about change but never actually do anything. You want real change? Use you power, fame and money to bring it to life. To date, only very few professional athletes have actually done that.

"where I live/grew up means my opinion is right and yours is wrong"

LMAO this is exactly why the players are doing this.

Nobody can really say for sure. But what we can say is that there is a much better chance of saving a life doing this and making sure people are aware of the injustices than there would be if nobody did anything.

Well killings were down significantly since 2015, so it seems police reforms were working and violent crimes were also decreasing in many cities. Now with defund the police and a free for all in the cities murder rates are skyrocketing. So are you sure any lives are being saved from this bullshit movement?
