It's good to be back. I had serious spinal surgery last summer and was in no mood to post. Plus i had to overcome some serious negativity about last season's disappointing performance. I am now recuperating from both. Looking forward to sharing a good 2015-16 season. Go Pirates!

Here's what I've learned - when a person is a mensch, you welcome them into your life regardless of your own opinion or their opinion.
I can't really blame Blue Pirate. He is as loyal as they come. Nobody in his right mind could have been happy about the last 9 years. So far the program has been a huge disappointment for me too. Can you imagine how much money in ticket sales SHU lost in 9 years? Had the school "invested" in a proven coach 9 years ago we would be far far along in revenue and basketball prestige. The mentality has to change. This is a business as SKP has always said.
The program and players need our support regardless of Willard's poor record.

Doc, this is more than just a Willard problem. Other than PJ, we haven't had a proven coach since we joined the Big East 35 years ago.
I'm rooting hard for a successful year so KW keeps his job. The last thing this program needs is to start all over again. .
