Assuming he is not coming here, we heard that were saving $$$'s for this class. Hence why I would love to understand the NIL strategy at some point or when were going to actually go into the war chest.

You assume we have a “war chest”

Ok let me clarify - the banter last recruiting cycle was Sha didn't want to use the money he had, saving it. Now we are here with no NIL strategy just wondering where said monies are and what we are doing with them. Seems logical before I give more money.

It’s always an excuse, that we are fantastic at.

Always figured a Lynch kid goes to Nova if Nova wants him. And Hodge is closer to his HS head coach than many current players who are tied to AAU guys I think. Would be nice to see a kid from my alma mater on our side.

I’m not sure there is a strategy
It seems like there is a strategy; we just get the short end of the stick most times. We seem to target lower 4-stars and higher 3-stars who don't go to high-level basketball schools or are NJ/NY natives (Terry Copeland, Oliver Faubert, Kameron Williams, Trent Noah, Godswill, and Kevin Kearny). I think Hodge may have done a little well in EYBL for us to compete with the attention he garnered. The kid played well and upped his demand, there is no denying that. Most of the recruits we have traction with this year don't have many other enticing high-major offers.

I think we'll still have a solid recruiting class and bring in a transfer point guard. Regardless of Hodge, some of the kids Sha is targeting are perfect for his system and style of play. There is NIL money—just not a ton.

He’s talking NIL not recruiting strategy.

Just spoke on the phone to Mike McBride. He will be sending me a communication to be posted to our fanbase. I will first post it on the Trove and then one day later bring it here.

Let's see what he has to say. I don't know if he'll be able to note all the details, as much of that is planned for the Beefsteak. But he assures me he'll pass on quality info.

Really appreciate this because this is the only way we get any type of info but it’s just more wait and see.

I would really like to see Terry Copeland come on board for Seton Hall-and let's add Del Jones, also;let's see what happens

On this topic, for those old enuf to remember, PJ's second yr of recruiting yielded 5 [4 Jucos, 1 marginal G] mediocre recruits. Very disappointing....he followed that up with 1. Martin Salley, 2. James Major, and, the breakthrough, 3. Mark Bryant.

Sooner or later, Shaheen will get his "breakthrough" class. Hopefully "sooner"
