Thank you for everything, Jack. That was a very fun election even though you came up a little short. Pretty funny cover in tomorrow's Trentonian.

Murphy should realize that the vote being this close is functionally an "L" for him in a state where registered Democratic voters outpace Republications by about 1 million, and where even many registered "R's" trend more towards independents or moderates. That this was a race to the finish-line shows that an enormous segment of his constituents have major issues with his economic/tax policies, what has transpired the last 2 years with public schools and COVID restrictions generally, and other aspects of the woke BS culture war agenda. I hope he responds accordingly, but I have a feeling he is just going to double-down because he is so out of touch.

He’s a tone deaf, arrogant, elitist, POS so I’m not holding my breath. Expect four more years of the same nonsense.

I bet he'll double down. He doesn't care. He sees government as us vs. them. He's not governor of everyone, he works only for the people who elected him in his mind, everyone else be damned.

His people are already out spinning it as the only reason it was close was because of low Dem turnout. As smug and elite of a politician as I've ever seen and that's saying something given the profession.

I’m going the opposite of you guys. While I agree Murphy is tone deaf, I don’t think he makes the big decisions without the authority of the higher ups in the Democratic Party. Those people are not as tone deaf and are damn worried about future elections if they continue down the same road.

Murphy said in his victory speech that he will listen to "All of New Jersey". Was that an admission he wasn't doing that before? Obviously said that because of the election results.

I just think that's the marching orders he's being told to follow.
