I hope he goes pro this season for his sake. And for my sake too. Because i get heartburn each time he takes an ill-advised shot, or too many shots and misses. Time to pull on the reins.

We really have some of the worse fans.
Here you have s player who is an All American who chose SHU over more established programs, plays hard every game , gives up his body to take charge calls, is a great student, puts up very good numbers on the court and represents the school very well off the court and yet despite all this we still have fans who go on a public forums to say they wish he was gone.
I am more embarrassed about this post than I was after the Marquette game last year, and I truly believe that because of these few bad apples fans of ours, we deserve any setbacks that come to us going forward.

Yes! I find it quite disheartening that although coach Willard has put a team on the court that has two fantastic guards a strong front court, and deep rotation depth at all positions, yet fans continue to denigrate both the coach and the players. On top of that, it is a young team with great upside,

It is very hard to come on this board to try and enjoy dialogue with what should be an optimistic and appreciative fan base, and instead encounter continual whining, mean-spiritedness and disgruntleness. Frank

Amen, Fordham, amen. It is so so tiring to hear the same old micro analysis of every little thing about this team and the coach.

Dr bill....how about making those comments after the season, let's see the progression before making conclusions. It's still way too early to make that kind of statement.

I can understand being anxious about IW's shot selection. Of course, when we finally got the ten point lead, 3 or 4 buckets were layups off of isaiah assts. Lots of the shots he missed last night were good shots I like him taking. But he does make bad decisions. He still thinks he can do anything he wants on the court and the defence cant ever stop him. It can be frustrating. But the talent is still tantalizing.

The talent is tantalizing but he's got to play within himself for the good of the team.

If Isaiah scored 25 and had 6 assts and 6 turnovers, that stat would be discussed and criticized. Last nite he was 7 and 3...

Please note the handle is dr bill1....not in a million years would the real dr bill post this.

So, guys, ignore the troll.

I knew that was not our dear respected friend so apparently the phantom has move from lists to
individual attempts to sabotage the board.

I don't remember seeing a post from Dr bill, only bill1. I think that is the doc.

It's kind of obvious that Isaiah is incredibly gifted, and he's working his butt off to learn this new position. Quite frankly, I think a lot of his struggles right now are due more to Willards offense of strategy. I'm not even sure what the strategy is. A lot of weave and a lot of one on one. Does that qualify for an offense?

Before the season started my biggest concern was the responsibilities being heaped on Whitehead. Change your position, have the ball in your hands 80% of the time, make your teammates better, make the big shots on a team with limited shooters, and make up for the deficiencies of your coach. He's learning and I think he's going to get a lot better. You just need to take in to consideration all the other stuff he has to deal with.

Thought the good Dr. went on hiatus, then came back with a different handle. (with the 1 at the end). Figured he had forgotten his password or something and created a new account. He's been posting on the pay board I believe more in line with how he typically posts. This def. seems out of character.

I really like IW, and hope he starts playing more under control with better decision making. Need the staff to do their part to make that happen as well.

I think it's dumb to just hope the kid leaves as opposed to fixing the problem. The problem I see is the kid is not being held accountable and it's not his fault. Calipari, K, Izzo, would all have a water bottle, towel, and a nice cushioned seat waiting for him if he took the shots he took wearing one of their uniforms. I've never called for Willard's firing and was never one of those saying they wouldn't renew tickets if he was still our coach, but I think if Whitehead leaves Seton Hall without knowing the difference between a good shot and a bad shot, a disservice was done to the kid. Again I'm not anti-Willard, I may even be in the minority who even likes him, but it's his job to make sure Whitehead stops taking bad shots.

I feel like the team plays it's best ball when IW is creating and dishing off for others, and taking the open shot when the opportunity presents itself. But he does take too many ill advised shots. Now, a lot of the is a result of the offensive sets that we run, but some of it is also on IW as he seems too impatient sometimes and settles for a low percentage shot too early in the possession. But to wish that he wasn't here next year is just silly.

Thank you. I enjoy watching IW play, and I couldn't agree with you more.

Isaiah,

I hope you have an incredible rest of the season and are a lottery pick. You would be a great representative of the university. If you happen not to be projected a lottery, all of our real fans want you back so you may continue developing and bring us back to the tournament.

Please realize that the original poster is a man, who created a fake profile, sits in his mom's basement and has nothing to look forward to in life.

Thanks

He had me fooled prior to this post, lol. Could have sworn he posted some rationale stuff on the pay board but could be wrong.

Pretty sure that's the old Dr. Bill and not a fake. And if so, very out of character for him though.

I would like to see IW back here for one more season (at least). Kid is a great talent, and I thought he did a lot of the little things last night (taking charges, rebounding, blocking shots, hustle plays), that made a difference. Yes, some of the shots make you wince, but when he makes it, you thank him.

Hmmmm, well I for one hope he stays and gets better. I think he'll do both.

Encouraging a McD AA to leave a season before he becomes an upperclassman is one of the worst rebuilding philosophies I've ever read.

YES!!! I am the real Dr Bill. And ( for his sake) i feel the if Isaiah makes it to the NBA that is fantastic!!!

Those of you who would rather see Isaiah stay NEXT SEASON are clearly thinking selfishly, because HIS goal is to go. His goal is also to be a point guard in the NBA. Now if you think he is now playing as if he were ready for the pros as a point, you are wrong IMO. Just as Hazel was criticized for the same flaws, ie. shot selection and poor shot to attempt ratio so too should IW. if he corrects his game and thinks more like a balanced player at the point position ( and with his other great talents) his chances of making the NBA increase for next season. Now do you understand where i am coming from??

My apologies. I guess I am selfish because I want Seton Hall to win, but if Isaiah were to leave I would absolutely cheer for his success at the next level.
