I watched the game and I still can’t figure out how St Peters won this game.
Every St Peters player would not even have been recruited or played a minute at Purdue.
I have rarely seen such a talent disparity. It looked like the Dream Team vs Lithuania.
7’4 and a Center built like a linebacker guarded by a very good pick up player.
1st round draft pick guarded by a player not even ranked in their state out of High School.
This should have a 20+ point win.
Only decent player fouls out.
No knock on the players - but this is reality. It is clear as day.
This is coaching.
Work the clock, get turnovers and limit the 3’s.
Give the Paint points - you can’t stop that - try to push them out when the receive the ball.
Everyone has to rebound - everyone.
Sha worked the recipe - somehow he got them to believe.
Somehow they did not get scared down 4 under 5.
They were patient - no bad shots.
100% coaching. That’s how thwy
damn - I would play for this guy and so will every 4-5 star player in the Metro area.
