Again, I would rather post this here so as to not stir up any trouble on the free board and to not slight players who do read the site.

I say what I do below as a fan and obviously not a coach. Doesn't mean I can't have my opinion, but it does mean I do not have the pedigree of a D1 coaching staff.

1. Limit Jaren Sina's minutes. And I say this as a person who knows and loves him. You will not fine a better young man to play the game. But that said, he is not now and possibly will never be a 35 MPG player in the conference.

The "he's runs the offense and calls the plays stuff" is just not accurate. If anyone truly believes that KW isn't calling the shots then you do not know our coach.

Jaren is a do not lose type player. You are not winning with that type of mentality. Because of his physical ability he is limited. But I do give him credit that he doesn't try to do more than he can.

That said, you're not winning with his playing most of the game unless he is surrounded by 4 studs.

2. Play Desi some at the 3. I am beyond shocked that we don't give this high energy guy some play at both forward spots.

Our team needs energy and I don't know anyone who plays harder than he. There are times when we have to go big. But as long as KW insists on playing Jaren most of the game there is no room for Desi at the three.

3. Pass the ball on occasion to Delgado. Clearly he is nowhere near a go to player right now. But at least make him an option. Force the opposition to respect him. In short add some variety to the offense. It will open up other options and reward a player by getting him more involved. And big men play better when they are rewarded by getting a few touches.

4. If any player, and I mean any player starts to go one on one without moving the ball sit him down. We play better when the ball is in constant movement. And we don't when everyone is standing around. How hard is that to teach?

Nothing above, especially as regards individual players is cut in stone. If Jaren is playing well then yes, keep him in the game. But if he's not don't stay with a formula that isn't working.

If Desi is out of control and having a bad stretch then limit his minutes to backing up Brandon.

This team has options. But please use them accordingly as the game plays out. Do not hammer a square game plan into a round set of on court performances. See what is happening and change accordingly.
