We're all "seeing it" these days - that's a good thing. No see - no like - no hope!!

What I learned over the long painful spring and summer was this: (a) arrive at the Serenity Prayer all over again (b) highly compartmentalize my thinking and reactions - so - split apart (i) program (ii) coach (iii) players (iv) league (v) D1 ranking - and evaluate and enjoy each of these in SEPARATE compartments and finally (c) avoid letting my confirmed judgments in one of the these buckets from poisoning my judgments in any of the other buckets.

This means that I can love the players, root for the team performance no matter what, be thankful for Seton Hall, but despise the coach as incompetent while yet caring for him as a decent human being, and in general still love the program.

That's it in a nutshell.

How do YOU see it?

Looking more and more that Desi/Veer can split the time at the three and Ish/Nzei at the four and be adequate. They all have physical talent and are making progress, but the D has to get much, much better. Huge gap at the five though...Angel needs to step it up and so far Anthony and Anderson not showing that they are BE caliber.

I see angel making progress. Still not the dominant rebounder we expect but I think he is getting there. Agree on the forwards and wonder if we actually see more three forward time than three guards.

Good bunch to root for... They all seem like good guys who like each other and represent the school well (sounds familiar).

But I go to the games with an attitude to expect nothing - whatever happens, happens... If we win - AWESOME! If we lose - when's the next Women's game?

Agree Pat. I think the problem children are all out. I like the attitudes of these kids a lot. They all seem like great kids, but of course we're only privy to so much info, so who knows. But I think this is a big factor in how the rest of the season will play out. Definitely the most talented roster I've seen in a while.

That's fair.

I think with more practice time for Anderson he'll be able to give us 6-10 quality MPG in the middle.

How I see it?

1). We need Whitehead and Delgado to be all-conference types consistently.

2). Good depth and complimentary players developing. Love what we're seeing at the 3 and 4 positions, as HALL85 outlined.

3). There has to be a net-positive equation between our team defense and the turnovers. When both are shoddy, we'll lose because we cannot shoot out of it from the outside.

4). I think there's been improvement over the 5 games to date. Big tests upcoming over the next two games, we'll see how they respond.

5). Most guys will be playing career-high minutes by like January. Have to see how that goes and if a wall is it. Our teams under Willard usually collapse, so that will be dicey.

I think Delgado's rebounding may go down due to Ish & Nezi. They are much better rebounders than Mobley. I'm more worried abt Delgado's offensive game and to a lesser extent his knee

As I see it, more often than not, the offense has not been good. Besides last game, the 3 point shooting has been poor. Yes Desi has been better than expected from hitting the 3 but no one else is lighting it up from the outside.

I will say that although Ish has done very well, the most explosive offensive lineup will be Desi and Singh playing together. Singh has a sweet stroke and must be utilized especially when he gets healthy. But, I do not want to utilize him at the expense of Desi. I want and expect to see Desi and Singh play together at the forward positions as soon as Singh is 100% healthy.

His knee should be fine.

Your point about Ish and Nzei is spot on.

And yes Angel has to ramp up his offensive game. He did make a few nice interior passes in the last couple of games.

Cern, give credit to Whitehead. 11-27 40.7%

And of course Singh is now back.
