1--The Hoyas weren't able to make any kind of comeback after falling behind by double digits at Xavier in the regular-season finale. Is the emotional tank finally on empty, or will MSG rejuvenate them?

I wouldn't say empty, but the flashing light may be on. It's obviously been a long year. They all say they are still in the fight, but i don't know if that applies to the entire program.

2--What do you think the public vote of confidence for Patrick Ewing from AD Lee Reed means for the program going forward?

It established he's staying...but it won't mollify some critics. Only wins, recruiting success and general program efficiency will.

3--Kaiden Rice shot 9-for-19 (47.4%) from 3 in two games vs. Seton Hall, but 19-for-72 (26.4%) in his other 10 games since the first meeting. Can he be an X-factor tonight?

He's always the X-factor. If Rice his hot, Hoyas have a much greater chance to win. But he's erratic.

4--Which player do you think has improved the most significantly over the course of the season?

Don Carey, sr. captain guard. He's been leaned on for and embraced the need for his play making, shooting and leadership. Has improved all three.

5--Obviously, it's hard for a team to have an identity when it's losing. Do you think the program has an identity right now?

It's struggling to hold on to an old identity, one that doesn't really exist now, one of Hoya Destoryas who feed the bigs and take out anyone in front of them. Can it return, yes, with work and time. But right now, the identity does include playing hard, but producing bad outcomes. So no, it really doesn't have a true identity.
