I.W........

Thumbs up for everything else including shooting. He is becoming a floor general before our eyes.

Great, great game by Whitehead. If he can get that three going regularly, this team is going to make some noise in the post-season.

Best game of the season? Desi was also phenomenal. If you told me that we would hVe beaten them easily with Khadeen giving us nothing, I would have said you were crazy

Isaiah was great and he had alot of company. Everyone who played contributed some.

IW plays out the season like he played tonight we will beat anyone left on the schedule. He played so smart that night. Didn't force anything, kept composure and set the tone and tempo of the team. Throw in the same for Desi and Angel and watch out.

I think whitehead figured out how to be a complete pg that this team needs tonight, best game as a pirate!

Isaiah has played many good floor games but the board talks about his shot selection. It was the few hugely clutch shots last night that made his play so admirable. This is two good shooting games in a row, would be nice if he shoot around .50.

The more Whitehead plays like a point guard, the better he gets and the better the team plays.

When he looks to pass and does not force the 3-pointers, he looks like the guy who was hyped up coming out of high school.

He's a big PG, strong, fast, quick, an an excellent passer (and getting smarter)... the tools he will need if he wants to play in the NBA.

Imo has has been playing good point for a while. His shooting has gotten better. And give him a 6"11 kid who is going to dunk the ball at the next level and he will get him the ball all day. I am hopeful we start finishing better inside. Nzei in particular missed a few yesterday

75, it's not just his shooting. His shot selection is slowly improving. That's a big deal.

Whether from the perimeter or in the paint, he's not forcing it nearly as much.

I counted about 4 ill-advised threes. One that he took closer to the beginning from about 4 feet behind the line. The difference in this game and past games is that he made 3 of 4 shots. The reason the other 3 were ill-advised was because it looked like he didn't have much separation from his defender and took a contested shot. On any other night they could have been easily missed.

Not sure 4 ill-advised shots over a game is a huge deal. Some were at the end of a shot-clock without any options.

If he missed that three, of a couple off the dribble in the first half, we are moaning about shot selection again. He shot less, partly cause we were getting better shots.

Was looking through IW's stats and, unless I missed something, his career high at the Hall looks to be 25 points. Not a bad thing at all, but surprised he hasn't gotten a 30 point game in yet. Probably a testament to his commitment to truly running the point this year

He was excellent against Creighton and has shown definite signs of maturing in the PG role the past few games. He's a joy to watch when playing that way. And he is a very good defender on fast breaks...hustles and occasionally blocks shots on guys who are bigger than him. He is really quite a talent.

if our guys finished or just caught the ball his assists per game would be doubled
I agree. Give him a 6'10 kid who is gonna dunk everything and that kid will get the ball...we do have issues finishing in traffic.

As we keep playing, hopefully they can expect the ball and finish...learning how to play together with I.W. as the point.
