Can we just swing Willard to assistant AD pay him his salary and make Sha the interim coach? He can't do worse than 6-12. Willard doesn't even have to show up to his new job, I don't care if he does or not. Just stay away from the court.

talking to a buddy yesterday who is in the athletic dept. at Iowa State. Couldn't believe me when I said I saw where its possible cant be fired. Anyone can be fired. If a coach is doing a bad job and is clearly hurting the schools rep and ticket sales fanbase etc. ant school can fire someone. If the hall somehow did this contract like this then man there is something very wrong here and should be looked into.

If Sha would take the interim head coach title with little to no salary increase, I would support this. Willard cannot return. He just can't.

If the number really is 3.2 then the options are either keep willard or get creative.

If sha is willing to get promoted for the same salary until 2018, could be worth trying. Also gives him some runway to recruit effectively.

what do we have to lose at this point.

Anything is preferable to the stays quo.
