If the giants lost and ru played, i could read about football here all weekend.
How bout them Giants.
How bout them Jets.
How bout them Giants.
How bout them Jets.
Giants winning their games in the last five minutes. Last 10 years, they lose the majority of any close Q4 game. Coaching? Confidence? They keep it close; they have a chance. We can dream. At least for a while.
If two games break right this weekend we're talking about the first place Giants and the first place Jets.
Future -TBD. Still too many questions at QB on both sides and unproven coaches. I love what Daboll & Co. have done so far but beyond saying he’s done a great job it would be nuts to project down the road. And I think the jury still very much out on Saleh too.The Giants and Jets are tied for having the worst record in the NFL over the past 10 years. This year was expected to be more of the same. So, my question is which team's performance this year has been the greater shock and which of the local teams has the better prospects for the future?

As thrilled as I am with the Jets this year, I think the Giants have been the real shock. On paper and based on previous performance they did not appear the least bit imposing. The Jets, on the other hand, did a great job with free agents and in the draft and have some real talent on each side of the ball. Either way, it's great to see both teams playing so well and winning close games. The Giants and Jets are tied for having the worst record in the NFL over the past 10 years.
