Its on Whitehead. This is probably not the game to be bringing this up.

But we are never going to win big games, unless Whitehead starts playing more efficiently.

All the other players that we need I feel are playing to expectation or better.

But if Whitehead is going to shoot 30 something pct every night. Its going to be another what if season for Seton Hall.

Nzei has stepped up big time this year and when Sonogo gets back I think this will be a very productive frontcourt.

Delgado finally has some help on the boards. But the shot selection from Whitehead has not gotten better.

The GW and long beach games really hurt the Hall's chances at dancing. Still possible, but you guys had to win one of those two to realistically think of dancing. Of course maybe you go 13-5 in conference or play on Saturday night in the big east tourney, so anything is possible.

IW has to make better decisions more often. He shows signs of improving but there's still some selfishness.

As mentioned in another thread buried somewhere amidst the blue and white confetti on the floor of the Louis Brown Athletics Center, I am *not* going to hold my fan experience hostage this year with hopes of an NCAA berth. Just want the team to bang it every time, grow, and see what comes, including IW.

I understand he takes some ill advised shots, but I try and remember he is not a point guard but trying to be one.
He was always a scorer and will continue to shoot.

This is probably not the game to be bringing this up.

That is a bit of an understatement.

Is there anytime that is good to make a statement that essentially says, "In the event something goes wrong, I know who we can blame"?

I can't image making such a statement under any circumstance in any endeavor even if one were to have those thoughts.

I don't think it's selfishness with I W , I think it's him trying to live up to his reputation as "The Man" on every team he played on before he came to SH. He's got to accept the fact that there is more to being " The Man " then just scoring.

Just trying to do much too much. Let the game come as they say and trust your teammates. they're pretty darn good.

You may be right about him having to be "the man" instead of him being selfish.
It's up to KW to coach him out of that. Saw some signs of improvement today but it's hard to undo so many years of being "the man".
Anyway the game was a joy to watch once we got going. No pacing, no muttering -just a lot "pour it on the SOB's" .
