Gutsy, gutsy win. Recovered from a terrible defensive performance in the first ten minutes. This win could be the start of some great things.

I couldn't get the picture on Fox for about 5 minutes, but thankfully I got to see the end of regulation and overtime. Wow.

It certainly is. Utah just beat Duke and will be back in the top 25 after that so this win is a very key win after what WSU did to them. Also Georgia just beat G Tech.
It has been a rough week with two extensive surgeries but this was the best medicine. Kevin coached a great game and the team showed guts on occasion after occasion. Great credit to the coaches and players. Wichita State will make noise in the future and that helps the Hall.
Def a great win. I also almost had three heart attacks between the 2 minute mark and OT. We carried our weight in the Big East today. Team should be proud.
Georgia Tech is terrible and has been terrible for years. Georgia isn't anything special but they were expected to win there...they're the better team.
Agreed. Big win. They kept battling and found a way. It's a win to build on...we'll know if it was real after the first 5-6 games of BE play.
GT RPI is 60. Beat Tennesse and VCU and played Villanova. How is that terrible when they were 7-2 even with a loss to East Tenn before today? That was not much different than us with a loss to LBS.
Tennesee and VCU aren't good. Tennessee is actually terrible. RPI means nothing in December. Tech will get exposed big time once ACC play starts. Come on man you know this stuff! Georgia will be an OK win (not great) b/c they will get their shares of wins in the SEC b/c the SEC is AWFUL once again.
I think GA is a good win not great, but the SEC is much better than when UK just ran through it for a couple of years. I think Ole Miss is what you think of GT. They have beaten nobody and played nobody.

Benching Whitehead fro start the OT. The Hall goes up 5 and wins.
1 Assist the ENTIRE FIRST HALF. Finally got an assist with 3 minutes left in the half.
Whitehead needs to pass the ball. He has become a ball hog one on one player and is hurting the team.
Desi is the heart and soul of the team Yet, for some reason Willard sits on the bench for long periods of time.
Gordon and Ish played tough D today to tough out the win. Hopefully this can propel the team into winning ways.

Ohio State is simply a victim of their own recruiting TomD. You can't expect to reload year after year. Eventually there will be a downturn. They've had alot of kids leave early year after year and it's caught up to them. Couldn't happen to a better group of fans/cheater school.

Switch to Man - supremely good move. My opinion - KW had the idea that a specialty gimmick zone defense was da shizzle and he has stuck with it for years way way too long. The fact is, he has recruited a style of player that thrives on the man-to-man defense and contact. It's not cerebral, it's football - and I think they're much better at it. And his switch over to man sooner and for the rest of the game is an important move for him to make - it means he's possibly maturing enough to have his players do what works the best regardless of the theories. I like that a LOT.
There were a lot of good things happening starting the last two four-minute segments of the first half and the second half showed we had more than one big run in our hearts. Really good stuff.
I've been a thorough skeptic so far, but I think if the coach can mature and adjust, he'll unleash the best potential in the players and then heck, it could be a really fun ride.
Kudos to the team, the fans and the coach today.
Also - major shout outs to (1) SPK for dropping on by - always a delight (2) meeting Fordham57 in person - fantastic and (3) my great good buddy TonyC1972 actually calling this decisively as a win AT HALF TIME!

And while I have a moment, there were not only a lot of fans, and a great showing by students - the Red Lobsters were beyond awesome! - we had a lot of younger people with us at the game. A young couple right in front of us - she was totally into the game - and the sons of our pals GoHall85 and Section112 - and a little wee one behind us.

Real good win against a good team.
My main takeaway is did any Seton Hall player play all that well? My answer is no yet they still beat a good team.
Ish was my player of the game for his late game/OT defense.
Well, we're a long way off from that just just. But without a win today, that was not going to happen, so this is good.
