Interesting dynamics with Addae-Wusu. He played and started all 37 games last season, averaged a career-high 32.3 MPG (previously high was 26.9 at SJU), but his shooting numbers and overall efficiency (95.6) were bad and a big drop. And obviously he tried to leave.
He only shot .416 from 2PT (67/161) and .290 from 3PT (42/145). Coming into last year, his career splits were .494 from 2PT (175/354) and .350 (96/274) from 3PT. He at least cut down on the 3PA as a ratio of his total shots, but man, those numbers are scary. As we’ve talked about before with him, a bounce back to those averages would be a good improvement. 👍
