1. Over the few years I have done these I feel like one of the most repeated things I say is “it was a tale of 2 halves”. Iona was unconscious in the first half and our defense was awful. We picked up the defense and suffocated them in the second half.
2. Great to see Rhoden pick it up, this is what we will need from him to be the team we hope, my concern is him putting up 20+ against tough competition.
3. Sandro is due for a monster year, he has so many tools. If he could get a little more consistent from 3 watch out.
4. Cale showed up today and contributed. He is what he is at this point. He will have good and bad games, but he needs to bring the defense every game or he will see Molson eat more of his minutes.
5. Ike should be playing 5-7 min a game, he just isnt a BE level player. Samuel is though and we will need his scoring when some of our other players are struggling.
6. We have a bunch of solid pieces. When you add Aiken to the core that is a good team. After 2 games I think our best lineup will be Aiken, Cale, Molson, Rhoden, Sandro.
