As would I, though only one of them has a position in the government with the ability to influence US policy. Not saying he did anything wrong. It is perfectly reasonable that it was a mistake that he did not resign from the board officially under Chinese law. Though, this was not the first time he has been criticized for the appearance of ethics issues. Is it unreasonable to think he should have ensured there were none?

There is absolutely no evidence that Joe as VP was making foreign deals in the best interest of his kids. There is plenty of evidence that Hunter was influence peddling, but you would have to be completely delusional to believe that Ivanka, Don Jr and Eric are not out there doing the same thing.

He held up aid to get the prosecutor fired. If you choose to believe that had nothing to do with the $50K per month job his kid had then you are naive at best.
If a laptop showed up with Trump emails, I would want the FBI all over it. I would want them in his house looking for more proof. If it was me and you they'd be at our home computer, office computer, seizing our phones, ipads, laptops. Why aren't they doing that to the Bidens. It's all proof government officials get different treatment than the rest of us. Nobody is above the law is a great line, but none of them believe it. We are not a government of the people, for the people, by the people right now.

If Shokin was investigating Burisma, and Joe Biden were acting alone there, I might tend to agree with you. But, Shokin wasn't investigating Burisma, and Ukraine was being pushed by the EU and IMF to fire Shokin as well.

Biden was taking credit for getting something done that the international community wanted. I don't think the IMF cares about Biden's son. And if Biden is corrupt enough to trade a billion, I sure as hell would hope he was getting a much larger kickback than a 50k per month gig for his son.

If you watched the interviews with Bobulinski he met with Biden multiple times. I hope the FBI investigates that. He also has emails backing up what was found on Hunter's laptop as well as the reference of 10% to the big guy and showing his tax returns proves nothing whether he will get that 10% someday or not. There is certainly more here than meets the eye but no one in the MSM has chosen to look into it. It is clear that Biden has used his influence for years to line the pockets of his kids and brother at minimum.
If Trump is doing the same they should identify it as well to insure he or his family are not breaking the law.

I have watched them. Like I said, I have issues with his credibility since he lied about why he came forward and being ordered to pay 650k a couple weeks ago... But he hasn't alleged anything the FBI would investigate.
Joe Biden would have been free to do whatever he wanted in 2017.

The main problem is how this all came about. If Giuliani produced these documents back when he received the laptop, the media would have had time to vet the story. As it stands now, there is the appearance that this again a foreign influence campaign ONLY to influence votes.
There is little time to get to the bottom of it, but that appears to be the intent.
This should be investigated, but I'm not sure how much coverage the media should be giving to foreign influence campaigns during an election.

But the MSM has a clear agenda and not even convering many good things like the peace deals etc. It's a crystal clear pattern that was very evident during George Bush's terms and now even more so for Donald even though he seems to relish it and plays into it with his abhorrent tweets.

There's not enough time in our lifetimes to untangle all the "conflicts of interest" in DC when it comes to China. The entanglement is too tight because that country has been our subcontractor for far too long.
