I agree. Lots of selfish play on the offensive end, guys driving into traffic and not passing, etc. Our offense lacks rhyme or reason.

Not a good game by our guards - Chaunce, Coleman and Dylan. Threw up a lot of lousy shots in or around the paint. They were 4 for 18 from 2 against a team who's biggest player was 6'6".

Chaunce played a terrible game. His defense allowed Francis to get hot and he took some ill-advised shots. Coleman was invisible early, got it going in the 2nd half but overall not a strong showing. Dylan was mostly brutal offensively but stabilized our Defense in the 2nd half when Sha put him on Francis.

Okorafor left a lot of points off the scoreboard. He had 2 or 3 easy dunks but is slow off his feet. He and Toumi miss bunnies, get fouled then miss all the Free Throws. The announcer said it's like a Turnover - he was right.

Was gonna say Holloway said in post game he liked the match up for Aligbe. I liked it to. He had a 6’4 guy guarding him.

So he did. Very talented shooter with very little discipline.

Think Aligbe may have been playing with too much discipline so far this season or timidness.

Either way he should be aiming to play like Kenneth Faried. He is not quite as athletic but its clear he should stick to his strengths which are being active, boxing out and rim running.

💯 on all. Toumi is not very good at all. Middleton has upside and would benefit from longer runs in games: Sha has an incredibly quick hook with the younger players.

This team has zero chance if Coleman and Jenkins are bad in games.

Aligbe gets the ball in bad positions for his skill set. It looks like we’re putting him in the same positions as Dre Davis when he’s not nearly as polished or skilled. It’s even worse without a PG who gets into the lane.

Okorafor has some ability and upside but he’s so stuttered in his moves. Nothing is fluid bc nothing is decisive. My God, go up big man. By comparison, Bediako was very quick with his moves and it makes huge difference in avoiding the defense.

Where’s Dennis Kozlowski when you need him? This team desperately needs Kadary. 🤣

I hope it gets better by it still looks absolutely terrible.

He looks more like a catch and shoot guy. He can handle the ball and facilitate offense but driving and finishing isn’t his strong suit. He struggles when putting the ball on the floor but that could also be bc our offense is terrible and he usually goes into traffic.

He’s be so much better with a driving PG or a post presence. Either would complement him.

Aligbe shot .522 from 2PT range at BC last year (59/113). In ACC games it was .550 (30/60), which was ranked 22nd of all players in league games. He's at .382 for us (21/55). I hope this is the start of a correction and he calms down because the guy has missed so many easy looks. I don't like that we get him the ball so far away from the rim, but that's life with this offense.

To his credit, he's been doing an excellent job on the defensive boards for us and by all accounts seems like a team leader.
