Will we ever see NJ do something like this? Even if they do I’m sure Seton Hall would be afraid to actually take advantage. This is why we’re already behind. Why be a leader when you can watch from the sidelines and possibly follow a few years later?
I wish people in powerful places at Seton Hall not only wanted that for us but we’re also willing to act on it! They’ll talk the talk but will they ever walk the walk!?
It takes someone like Pitino to push things like this and make it happen. He pushes boundaries and isn't shy about using his vast network of cronies to change things to make it easier for him to win.
This is not the SH way. We usually wait until the vast majority of P6 schools to accomplish something before we even consider it. If SH and Rutgers came together and went to our elected officials we could do similar things. But we aren't proactive about anything.
