Haven't seen him yet as he is injured but I am being told not to sleep on Dave Tubek. Freshmen built like an NFL linebacker.Seems like a solid get, and several ticks up from the recent level of prep recruit we have landed save for Coleman. Plenty of PT will be available at the guard spot, so great to finally get rolling for 2024.
Not sleeping on him either. He seems like a solid recruit too. And who knows about the other kids. I never write any of these off because we have seen recruits fluctuate both ways (underperform v. outperform rankings).Haven't seen him yet as he is injured but I am being told not to sleep on Dave Tubek. He has offers from a bunch of high majors. This is an impressive get, the staff should be credited as such. Not sleeping on him either. He seems like a solid recruit too. Just pointing out that from a competition perspective, this kid is rated higher than some of the recent kids we landed, and it seems we actually beat out at least one legit competitor instead of mid-majors.
Perhaps you are right. We all know what โoffersโ means. I wasnโt trying to diminish the kid at all, so I donโt know why you took it that way. I read somewhere NC State was the real competition and posted that us getting a kid from down there is a good get. And that itโs been the best recruiting news in a while. He has offers from a bunch of high majors. This is an impressive get, the staff should be credited as such.

I know the board was hard on Sha for his staff- but it Seems like Davis is proving himself with getting us some freshman (Tubek, Felton)

I like what Iโm reading from this kid.![]()
Seton Hall basketball lands Jahseem Felton, Class of 2024 guard with royal bloodlines
3 things to know about Felton, who is the Pirates' first commitment for 2024www.app.com
If he's as good as Myles Cale we should be happy. Thrilled in fact. We've had kids ranked in this area who worked, but many who did not. Look at some of Willard's last classes.Reminds me of a better version of myles Cale.
Well Felton can play point so he will automatically be a better ball handler than Cale who did not handle the rock very well. I liked Cale, but I am actually hoping for someone who will play better. This kid has versatility to his game already. If he's as good as Myles Cale we should be happy. Thrilled in fact. We've had kids ranked in this area who worked, but many who did not. Everybody labels themselves a โcombo guardโ nowadays. That in no way means he can actually handle being a point guard in the big east.Well Felton can play point so he will automatically be a better ball handler than Cale who did not handle the rock very well. Whoa.... Certainly reasons to be optimistic about Jasheem, but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet...Reminds me of a better version of myles Cale.
